My name is Melissa Chaplin and I am being guided to remember and share my gifts as a healer, specifically, a crystal healer. So how did all of this begin? Well, it's really been more of an unfolding that has been happening over the past 13 years. It all started in 2013 while I was attending the International Sea Turtle Society's 33rd Annual Sea Turtle Symposium in Baltimore, Maryland. On a whim, I decided to attend Dr. Elena Mustakova's (a psychologist and author of Global Unitive Healing who happens to be married to a sea turtle biologist) workshop titled Understanding Resilience: Core Connections that Sustain. She provided a list of recommended reading and when I got home, I tracked down every single book and read each one. Those books forever changed my life and my perspective.

Fast forward to the summer of 2025 when I completed a Wild Wisdom & Core Shamanism I apprenticeship with Pavan Ravi Sirona (pavansirona.com). This is when my connection to crystals became apparent and I found myself wanting to surround myself with them and learn as much about their healing properties as I could. Now they are part of my everyday life and they continue to comfort and support my family (both human and animal), friends, and me. So much so that I have been inspired to open an Etsy shop to share crystal support for emotional healing with others.
